GREER, BERTHA EVANS, August 16, 1888 – October 30, 1956

Funeral services are being held at the Malad Presbyterian church for Mrs. Bertha Evans Greer, 68, who died at the Oneida Hospital after an illness of four days. The Rev. Bruce Crawford will officiate.

A lifelong resident of Malad, Mrs. Greer was born August 16, 1888, a daughter of Joseph W. and Mary Ann Evans. She attended the Malad elementary school and new Jersey Academy of Logan, Utah. She married Jesse Edgar Greer at Malad on Sept. 11, 1912. Mrs. Greer was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Jesse W. Greer, Live Oak, CA; Stanley Dick Greer, Whittier, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Quigley, San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; one great grandchild; five step great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Mrs. W.A. McClurg, Mrs. Gainor Mitchell, Mrs. Sam Lusk, all of Malad; Daniel F. Evans, Boise, ID.
