Tamara Evans Leiser

LEISER, TAMARA LEE EVANS, October 31, 1944 – August 6, 2004

We say “good-bye” to a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. Tamara Evans Leiser passed away on August 6, 2004 at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, after a brief battle with a blood disease.

Tamara was born October 31, 1944, the daughter of the late Keith E. Evans and Rula Harris in Malad, Idaho.

Tamara (Tammy) is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Leiser; her son, Keith (Dawn) Leiser; a daughter, Kenna (Tim) Roco, a brother William K. Evans and three beautiful granddaughters, Cassandra, Tannah and Leah.

Tamara attended the University of Idaho, where she received her cosmetology license. She was a world traveler, visiting many countries the world over to include living in Saudi Arabia for thirteen years with her husband. She and her husband settled in Schertz, Texas, near San Antonio some eight years ago. She was active in the community; she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and owned her own candle business.

Funeral services will be held August 13, 2004 at the Benson Horsley Funeral Home in Malad City, Idaho. She will be laid to rest next to her parents in the St. John cemetery.
