Stephen Spencer Bradley

Stephen Spencer Bradley
Stephen Spencer Bradley, born April 17, 1966, in Alabama, returned to his Father in Heaven on October 8, 2016, where he was lovingly greeted by his father, Ray Eugene Bradley, and mother, Sally Joann Dean Bradley Martin, who both preceded him in death.
Steve is universally described by all who knew him as a “great guy”. He was a man of great character, which was molded by the exceptional people of Malad, Idaho, to include esteemed coaches, teachers, neighbors, classmates and friends. He was a proud graduate of Malad High School in 1984 where he was an all-star basketball player for the Dragons. He had a jovial attitude and an ease about him that made every-one around him feel comfortable. He was a friend’s friend with unquestioned loyalty and he loved his family members, especially his children Taylor R. Bradley (JaTawng), Murray, Utah and Sierra M. Bradley, Ogden Utah; stepchildren Tiffany Cooper Lewis (Wade), California; Tyson Wallin and granddaughter Cooper Lewis, more deeply than they knew. He was a big man with a huge heart that he easily expanded to include children, stepchildren and companions past and present. Steve excelled at sports (except golf) and shocked and amazed every-one when he graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Quality Engineering. He considered any disparaging remarks toward his motorcycle, the Denver Broncos or the Utah Jazz as fighting words. At the time of his passing he was the Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Sleep Number by Select Comfort and resided in Midvale, Utah.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother, father, and honored stepfather, Delbert Martin, who raised Steve in the absence of Steve’s biological father, Ray, who gave his life in the service of his country in Vietnam.
Steve is survived by his beloved children and step-children; a granddaughter; his sister Diana Bradley Shapiro (Tim) of Ogden, Utah; brother Shawn Martin; Aunt Paula (Len), West Jordan, Utah; Uncle Ken Bradley who he had the pleasure of finding and get-ting to know over the last five years; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, classmates, and dear friends who all had a place in Steve’s heart.
