Stanley W. Edwards

Stanley W. Edwards of Orlando, Florida passed away October 8, 1998. He was born September 24, 1939 at Malad, Idaho, the son of the late Warren W. and Kate E. Edwards. Stanley attended school at Malad and graduated from high school in 1957. He attended the University of Idaho before enlisting in the Air Force.

While serving in Vietnam, Stan was named the top personnel technician in the Air Force he was an administrator in the supply industry. He is survived by his wife, Peggy of Orlando, a son Jim an daughter-in-law, Rose Ann of Casselberry, Florida. Brothers and sisters include; Cleon Edwards, David Edwards, Mrs. Terrel (Carol Jones), Mrs. Gary (Kathleen) Allen and Mrs. Frank (Donna Gayle) Madsen of Malad, Idaho; Ren of Pocatello, Idaho; Kelly of Ontario, Oregon; Darrel of Matoon, Illinois and Danny of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Stanley was a member of the Dover Shores Baptist Church in Orlando where he was very active in all organizations. He especially loved the little children and drove the bus to pick up the children for Sunday School and was a Mother’s Day Out Teacher.

Funeral services for Mr. Edwards were held October 14, 1998, at the Dover Shores Captist Church with reverend Andy Scott and Reverend Randy Neal officiating. Burial was at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando.
