Stanley Shaffer dies February 17
Stanley Antone Shaffer, 8 year old son of Edward A. and Beatrice Chandler Shaffer, died Friday, February 17, at his home in Inkom, following an extended illness. He was born in Pocatello on March 7, 1975 and lived his entire live[life] in Inkom. He went to Inkom Elementary School and was in the third grade. He liked playing out of doors and liked to fish and play soccer. He was a Cub Scout and enjoyed Primary in the Rapid Creek LDS Ward.
Survivors include his parents of Inkom; two brothers, Rex Shaffer, Inkom, and Max Shaffer, Pocatello; two sisters, Dannette Shaffer, Inkom. and Mrs. DeLaine (Laura) Anderson, Pocatello. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel Shaffer and Mr. and Mrs. James Chandler.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, at the Inkom LDS Chapel with Bishop Dave Wright of the Rapid Creek Ward officiating. Burial was in the Inkom Cemetery.
