Sharon Mercer

May 27, 1948 ~ September 11, 2019

On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, Sharon Mercer, passed away at the age of 71. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and friend.

Sharon was born on May 27, 1948 in Laramie, WY to Robert and Ann (Stoddard) Bagby.

Sharon married John Mercer in 1966. They raised one daughter, Tammera, and one son, Brad.

She had a passion for gardening, piano, and her dog’s Koko and Yoshi. She also loved to bird watch. She was known for her humor, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. She enjoyed being able to help others where she worked at YCC, and then later at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Tammera and her three children, Matt, Misty, and Amanda; her daughter-in-law, Grace and her daughter, Autum; her brother, George; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; her mother, Ann; her brother, Robert; and her son, Brad.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
