SHANNON KAY LUSK WILKER

AMMON – Shannon Kay Lusk Wilker, 58, of Ammon, passed away July 20, 2011 at her home after a nearly five year battle with breast cancer. She was under the care of her loving family and hands Of Hope Hospice. Shannon was a very compassionate person and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Shannon was born August 13, 1952 in Malad, ID to Ralph Bailey Lusk and Berna Deane Brower Lusk. She grew up in Arbon and Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School in1970.

Shannon married the love of her life, Shane Wilker, on April 23, 1982 in Elko, NV. Shannon was a terrific wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, walking, gardening, taking care of her granddaughter and watching movies.

Shannon is survived by her husband of 29 years, Shane; two sons, Justin Brown of Idaho Falls, ID, and Ryan Brown of Richland, WA; her mother, Berna Deane Lusk of Arimo, ID; two brothers, Alan Lusk of Arbon, ID; and Joe Lusk of Blackfoot, ID; a sister, Melanie Haskett of Fort Hall, ID; and a granddaughter, Cassidy Brown. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Bailey Lusk.

At Shannon’s request, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Cassidy Brown Education Fund at any branch of the Bank of Commerce.
