Shane Deloy Marble

MARBLE, SHANE DELOY, May 23, 1987 – July 8, 2006

Shane Deloy Marble, 19, our beloved Shane became an angel of God’s once again on July 8, 2006 due to a tragic auto accident.

Shane was a blessing to Tracy and Tricia Christensen Marble on May 23, 1987 in Logan, Utah. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Malad, Idaho. He attended Malad high School and graduated with the class of 2005, with his parents being his motivation.

Shane had been working on the oil rigs in Wyoming for the past eight months.

Shane lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He was well known for his laugh, his BIG heart and of his love to joke.
Shane is survived by his parents, Tracy and Tricia Marble; two sisters, Toni (Noni” (Treaver) Cherry of Malad; Jamie (Craig) Wood of Roy, Utah; three brothers, Cliff Wood of Ogden, Utah; Tracy (Amanda) Marble of Ft. Bennings, GA; and Jon Marble of Corvallis, Oregon; grandparents, Rosie and James Christensen of Malad; Merle Marble of Fontenelle, WY; Charlie Marble of Malad; many aunts and uncles and lots of nieces and nephews, all of whom he adored; and his best friend “Timmy”.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 12:00 noon in the Malad LDS 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Horsley Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:30 – 11:30. Burial will follow in the Cherry Creek Cemetery.
