Sarah Susan Price Fifield Davis (Birth 2 Dec 1883/Death 11 Jun 1962)

SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR FORMER MALAD WOMAN

Funeral services were conducted in the Orem 11th LDS Ward Chapel Wednesday for Mrs. Sarah Susan Fifield Davis, 78, former Malad resident, who died early Monday morning (11 June 1962) in a Salt Lake City hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Davis was born Dec. 2, 1883, in Malad, a daughter of John W. and Millie Richardson Price. She received her education in the Malad schools and on Jul 15, 1903 she was married to Albert Moroni Fifield in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Fifield died August 9, 1944 at Provo. She was married to William V. Davis on Jan. 15, 1948 in Provo and he died August 23, 1958.

Mrs. Davis moved from Malad in 1923 and has since been a resident of Utah and was living in Salt Lake City just prior to her death.

Mrs. Davis was a practical nurse and an active member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are one son and two daughters, Albert Earl Fifield, Hollydale, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Anna) Greene, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ernest (Millie) D. Woody, Orem; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, John V. Price, Josiah Price, Mrs. David (Settie) Jones, Mrs. Margaret Hughes, Mrs. Harvey (Cass) Jones and Mrs. Heber J. (Millie) Evans, Malad; Eddie Price, Parma, Idaho; Albert Price, Lava.

Interment was in the Provo Cemetery.
