EVANS, SARAH ELLA DANIELS

Sarah Ella Daniels Evans, 58, of Pocatello, died at her home July 8, 1958 following a long illness.

She was born September 17, 1899 at Malad, a daughter of Thomas D. and Sarah Elizabeth Dives Daniels. She was married at Malad to Leslie Morse Evans, July 3, 1923. She received her temple endowments at the Idaho Falls Temple June 5, 1956. They lived in Malad until 1934 when they went to Pocatello to make their home.

Mrs. Evans was a member of the Tenth LDS Ward, West Pocatello Stake, at the time of her death. She had been a visiting teacher in Relief Society and had served as the ward organist in the Pauline Ward near Malad. She had been active in genealogical work and had done much temple work. A member of the Matilda F. Smith camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, she also enjoyed making quilts and was happy in the out of doors.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Ella) Parker, Mrs. Eva Helen Jenkins, Miss Mildred D. Evans, Pocatello; three brothers, Thomas V. Daniels, Bell Gardens, CA; Raymond Daniels, Albert C. Daniels, Fort Hall; one sister, LaVina Thomas, Independence, MO and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at the Manning Funeral Chapel at Pocatello.
