Sarah Elizabeth Hatfield Carr Monk (Birth 1 Nov 1813/Death 21 Jan 1905)

Sarah Elizabeth Hatfield Carr Monk, was born at Mulberry Gap, Colburn, Tennessee on November 1, 1813. Her parents were Mary Yeary and Abner Hatfield.

She Married John Jackson Monk about 1833 in Tennessee. He died in 1848. They had five children. She then married William M. Carr in Iowa in 1851. He died 1876. They had three children. She was Willialm Carr’s 3rd wife.

She passed away at Woodruff, Oneida, Idaho on January 21, 1905. She is buried at Portage, Utah cemetery.

Survivors: Children: Rosannah Monk (Howell), Jesse Rogers Monk, Moses Monk and John Jackson Carr.
