MOORE, SARA R., September 3, 1937 – April 12, 2006

WEST HAVEN, UTAH – Sara “Sallie” R. Moore, 68, former Malad, Idaho resident, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006. She was born September 3, 1937 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Clarence and Carrie Anderson.

On January 26, 1957, Sallie married Martin B. Moore in Elko, Nevada. He died February 3, 2006 in Ogden, Utah. Together, they had four daughters and two sons.

She devoted her life to her family, especially to Martin, who was the love of her life.

Sally loved to do handwork and work with her roses. He great enjoyment cam making porcelain dolls, as anyone who walked into her home could see the more than 800 dolls she had made.

Sallie is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Dan) Hess of Malad, Idaho; Lisa (Dick) Mechem of Morgan, Utah; Meda (Charlie) Aerts of Taylor, Utah; and Alice (Michael) Sorenson of Evanston, Wyoming; her sons, Richard (Christy) Moore of Ogden, Utah; and Carl (Crystal) Moore of Evanston, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Malad City Cemetery.
