Ronald Joseph Centoni

Swan Lake…Ronald Joseph Centoni, 63, passed away November 4, 2010 at Preston Medical Center surrounded by his wife and many friends.

Ron was born in Reno, Nevada on November 8, 1946 to Joseph Mario Centoni and Virginia Mae Roush.

He was under one year old when the family moved to Half Moon Bay where he was one of three generations to live there. He attended grade school and graduated from High School in Half Moon Bay. While in High School he played baseball, basketball and football.

After graduation he attended San Mateo Jr. College and there received his Mechanics Apprenticeship. He then began work in this field with his first employment being at Frank Laney Ford in Half Moon Bay, where he worked for 10 years. Then he went to work for Village Lincoln Mercury as Assistant Service Manager for 10 years. He returned to work for Frank Laney Ford as Service Manager for another 10 years. Next he was employed by ITT Federal Electric as Senior Mechanic electrician at Pillar Point Radar Tracking Station for 9-1/2 years.

He married Judy Marie Villa on December 4, 1970. Judy had 2 children from a previous marriage, a boy, Michael and a girl Sheila. In 1971 twin boys were born to Ron and Judy and they named them James Anthony (Jimmy) and William Alan (Billy).

As a family they enjoyed water skiing, hunting, camping and riding horses.

In 1993 Ron and Judy moved to Swan Lake, Idaho. At this time Ron went to work at
Bowen Ford in Preston where he worked for 11 years. His last employment was with
Thom Greene at T & T Repair where he worked for 2 years.

He had many medical problems at this time and retired on disability at the age of 62.
He was a friend to everyone and loved to be involved in the Community. He especially enjoyed the branding and the round up and was always available to anyone who needed him. He will truly be missed by all those friends and especially his family.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, 4 children and 4 grandchildren and his mother-in-law,
Betty Villa, 2 brothers, Gene and Jeff, 2 sisters, Linda and Cindy and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law.

Arrangements are under the care of Horsley’s Marsh Valley Funeral Home
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 12:00 noon at the Swan Lake
LDS chapel with Bishop Bradley Gambles officiating. Friends may visit with the family this evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and prior to services on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30
A.M. at the church.
