Rodney Lynn Lish, born Oct 23rd 1959, to Pat and Lynn Lish who was his partner in crime and best friend. He is a-beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication to those he loved.

Rodney was known for his steady presence, warm heart, and unwavering commitment to his family. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, whether through a simple conversation, a helping hand, or his quiet sense of humor. Those who knew him will remember his reliability, his work ethic, and the deep care he showed to everyone in his life.

He took pride in the life he built and the relationships he nurtured. He worked for the Pacific Railroad until he eventually got laid off and then went to work for Mark 3 at the Monsanto plant in Soda Springs in which he was an Iron worker and welder. He eventually was laid off from Mark 3 and began his true passion which was training horses and working cows.

He found joy in the simple things—time spent with family, shared meals, laughter, and creating lasting memories with those closest to him. His influence will continue to be felt in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He loved spending time with his boys. There were many hunting and fishing trips over the years that will live on in their memories forever. He also enjoyed coaching his boys in their sports especially baseball.

Rodney is survived by his mother Patricia and his two sons, Rusty his wife Ashlee and their 3 kids (Kutter, Kanyon, and Tayzlee) and Sage his wife Shailee and their two kids ( Ferox and Tulee) who will carry forward his values and cherish the memories they shared. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to honor Rodney’s life will be held on Sunday, April 26th at 10am at The Haven at Broken Bar Ranch located at 17005 Meadowbrook Ranch in Arimo.
