Robert Reese Dies At Brigham City

BRIGHAM CITY — Robert Reese, 73, of 123 E. 1st South St., died last night at his home after an illness of eight months.

Mr. Reese was an instructor in mechanical arts at Box Elder High School until retiring in 1949.

He was a charter member of the B.T. Glee Club.

A member of the LDS Church, he served 10 years in the presidency of the YMMIA and five years in the Sunday School superintendency. He was a high priest and a ward teacher in the Brigham City First Ward.

He was born March 21, 1881, in Malad, Idaho, a son of John D. and Cecelia Howe Reese. He attended Brigham Young College and Utah State Agricultural College.

On April 30, 1902, he married Beatrice E. McCann in the LDS Logan Temple.

Surviving are his widow, Brigham City; one son and three daughters; Robert M. Reese, Ogden; Mrs. C. A. (Rowena) Munns, Brigham City; Mrs. Ray S. (Venace) Merrill, Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. Ralph J. (Bonnie) Rampton, Cincinatti; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one sister; Mrs. Rose Mae Horsley.
