Funeral Tuesday For Robert P. Peck

Funeral services for Robert Paul Peck, age 65, who died Friday [June 6, 1966] in a Salt Lake City hospital, were conducted here Tuesday.

Bishop Lon W. Corbridge conducted the services at Benson Funeral Home. The invocation was offered by Raymond Evans and the benediction by Stillman[sic] Harris, James B. Jones read the obituary and the speaker was Ralph W. Harding. Vocal solos were presented by Foster Ipsen[sic] and Lou Donna Day. Accompanists were Ruth Jones and Iris Barker, who also played the prelude and postlude music.

Raiford[sic] G. Benson dedicated the grave at the Malad City Cemetery.

Flowers were carried by Grace Daniels, Carol Waters, DePhane[sic] Taylor, Hanna Daniels, LuoDonna[sic] Day, Donna Lynn Day and Ruth Jones.

Casket bearers were Loren Peck, Ariel Jones, Royce Jones, Lee Goddard, George Daniels and Everett Turner.

Mr. Peck was born on Oct. 16, 1900, in Malad, a son of Charles H. and Anna Marie Bywater[sic] Peck. He married Carol Pelton[sic] on Oct. 10, 1926, in Malad. They were later divorced.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include a son and a daughter, Robert Paul Peck Jr., of Richland, Wash.[sic], and Mrs. Robert (Nanon[sic]) Jones of Bellevue, Wash.[sic], seven grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Don L. Peck, Malad; Arthur Peck, Jay Lou Peck and Mrs. Marie Cooper, all of Salt Lake City.
