Robert Dean Patterson, 67, died of a heart attack at his home in Pollock, Idaho, Monday, January 23, 1995.

He was born November 19, 1927, at Ashley, Nebraska, to Claude E. and Clara Patterson.

He was a rest area private contractor. He and his wife Audery, moved to Pollock from Burley in 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Hawkins; two sons, Ervin of Pocatello and Sam of Payette; four daughters, Pam Patterson of Arizona, Connie Thompson of Kennewick, Kathy Egbert of Soda Springs, Idaho and Alice Ryan of Ansley, Neb.; two step-sons, Melvin Spencer of North Carolina and Robert Spencer of West Jordan, Utah; and a step-daughter, Sue Barkley of Phoenix.

He is also survived by four brothers, Ralph Patterson of Arkansas, Sid Patterson of Texas, Pete Patterson of Jerome, Idaho; a sister, Alice Flinneken of Twin Falls; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One brother and sister died previously.

A memorial service was held Saturday at the Summervills Hall at Riggins.
