Funeral services were held at Myers Mortuary, Ogden, Tuesday for Richard Taft Owens, age 52, who died on pneumonia contracted following a fall at his home in which he suffered chest injuries.
Mr. Owens was born Mar. 4, 1909, at Malad, a son of R.E. and Sarah Little Owens. He was reared and educated here, and married Mildred L. Hall May 26, 1930. They lived in Pocatello for several years while he was employed at Peterson Market. They had made their home at Ogden for the past 12 years. He was a salesman for Fischer-Hess Pontiac at the time of his death.
Surviving are his widow: two sons, Richard Gary, Portland, Oregon; Robert D., Ogden; four grandchildren; three brothers, Jack, Ogden; Stan, Draper, Jedd, Boise; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Thomas, Lava Hot Springs; Mrs. Reed (Isabel) Nielsen, Portage.
Burial was in Ogden City Cemetery.
