RICHARD LaVERNE REINARDY

Richard LaVerne Reinardy, 81, Malad, passed away July 21, 2011 at his home of cancer, surrounded by his family.

Rick was born February 14, 1930 in Pontiac, Michigan to Michael Nicholas Reinardy and Rhea Hawley Reinardy, the first of two children.

He married Beth Jorgenson December 25, 1959 in Roswell, NM, seven children were born to this union.

He retired from the Air Force after serving 20 years. He retired from the U of U School of Medicine Medical Illustrations Dept. as a photographer.

Survivors are his wife, Beth (Michael, from a previous marriage), Dave, Montana; Danny, Malad; Johnny; Sharon (Jason) Singer; Brenda (Andy) Craw, Utah; and Rick (Valerie), Oregon; his sister, Jackie Olhow, Minnestoa; seven grandchildren, Tim, Dustyn, Christi, Sacha, Lyndzie, Darron and Jordan; four great grandchildren, Preston, Marley, Dakiaya and Abby; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Martha Ann.

His body has been donated to the University of Utah. There will be a celebration of his life on July 29 at the Second Ward in Malad.
