Rex E. Reynolds, (1916)

Rex E. Reynolds passed away on Friday, August 14, 2009.
He was born June 14, 1916 in Malad, Idaho, the son of Taliesin and Alice Reynolds, the youngest of five children.
Rex married Mildred Watkins in 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had two children, Brent and Brian and later adopted a daughter Diane. They lived in Salt Lake City, Malad, Idaho Falls,, Ogden and Provo. After the passing of his beloved wife in 2001, Rex lived with his son, Brent, in Hurricane and later in Pleasant Grove with his son, Brian.

Rex served in the U.S. Army during World War 11, then had a career as a salesman for the Jewel Tea Company. He retired in 1975. After retiring Rex and Mildred spent many years working and serving senior citizens in Ogden, Utah.
Rex is survived by his children, Brent Reynolds, Brian (Joyce) Reynolds, Diane Reynolds; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Rex was a kind loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He has set an example of Christ-like living for all his descendents to follow.
The family would like to thank Dr. Duros and the nurses for their exceptional care of our father at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 18th at 2 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden.
