Reed T. Larson, 26 June 1931

DOWNEY – Reed T. Larson, 71, of Downey, passed away February 17, 2002 at his home of natural causes.

He was born June 26, 1931 in Downey, ID, a son of Archie and Annie Larson. He was raised and educated in Downey and later served in the armed forces in the US Air Force.

He married Thelma Kirkwood on February 27, 1969 in Salt Lake City, UT and they were later divorced.

Reed had worked as a truck driver for many years and was employed with various companies.

He is survived by three sons, Tom (Lisa) Larson, Reed L. (Laura) Larson, David (Stephanie) Larson, all of Salt lake City, UT; five grandchildren: Toni, Taylor, T.J., Kayla and Gerry, all of Salt Lake City; one brother, Roy (Myrna) Larson of Downey, ID; and one sister, Glennys (Joe) Edwards of McCall, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Iva Lou, one brother, Henry and one grandson, Kevin.

Funeral services will be held February 23, 2002 in the Evans-Early Funeral Home, Salt Lake City, UT. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post No. 132.
