HANSEN, REBECCA LEE, August 28, 1958 – December 15, 2006

Rebecca Lee Hansen, 48, of Malad, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 15, 2006. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was born in Logan, Utah, August 28, 1958, the daughter of Bud and Donna matlock Hansen, and grew up in Tremonton, Utah. She had two brothers and two sisters.

She loved to do crafts of any and all kinds, including dolls, ceramics, painting, crocheting, knitting and especially woodworking. Her legacy of homemade gifts will be treasured for generations to come.

She had six children, two boys and four girls, sixteen grandchildren and one grandchild on the way. She loved her grandchildren and they all loved her so much. She was their friend and confidant.

She is survived by her parents; her children: Pamela Lane (JD) of Montana; Butch Stroud (Angela) of Malad; Shondell Palmer (Tobin) of Malad; Jennifer Lloyd (Rick) of Malad; Cassie Williams (Sam) of Malad; and Bud Clark of Malad. Grandchildren are Melony, JD, Jr. and Chrissy Lane; Courtney, Makenzey, Whitney, Madison and soon to be born Kelby Stroud; Cheyenne, Tucker, Tobin, Jr., and Miley Palmer; Bracken and Breanna Lloyd; and Makaylee and Blake Williams. Brothers and sisters: Ed Hansen (Pat); Patty Peterson (Kim) of Malad; Michelle Thomkins (Kurt) of Hyrum; and Mark Hansen (Andrea) of Salmon. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Leona Matlock. She was a wonderful person and a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
