
FREDRICH, RACHEL FRYER, March 21, 1892 – December 10, 1957
Funeral services will be Friday in the Malad Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Rachel Fryer Fredrich, former Pocatello school teacher.
Mrs. Fredrich died at her home Monday after a three month illness. She was 65. She was born March 21, 1892 in Denver, daughter of Elija Samuel and Elizabeth Powell Fryer.
She married Walter S. Fredrich August 4, 1918 at Alhambra, CA. She moved with her parents to Pasadena, CA at the age of 11. She was a graduate of Pomona College, Pomona, CA.
Mrs. Fredrich is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Betty) Tubbs, Malad and Mrs. Josh (Frances) Mitchell, Pocatello; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Fredrich taught school at Arbon, Pocatello and Cherry Creek. She moved to Malad from Arbontwo months ago.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists, Eastern Star, Malad; Pocatello Chapter of Idaho Writers League; and Samaria LDS Relief Society.
Officiating will be the Rev. Bruce Crawford and burial will be in the Malad cemetery with Benson Funeral Home in charge.
