Phyllis Treadwell, age 74, died April 14, 1994, in Merced, California. She was born April 29, 1919, in Malad, Idaho.

Phyllis attended schools in Malad, graduating in 1936. She attended two years of business college. She moved to Washington D.C. to work for the State Department during World War II. She then transferred to Los Angles to work for the government, where she met and married her husband Willard Treadwell in 1946. They moved to Merced, CA, where she lived for 48 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1976.

She enjoyed reading, watching television, and traveling. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a son, Bruce Treadwell, of Merced CA. Two sisters; Geraldine Sullivan and Glen Rae Stewart both of Hollywood, CA. One brother, Seth Thomas, Jr. of Malad.
