Funeral Rites For Pete Peterson

Funeral services for Peter A. Peterson where held Sunday, September 10 in the stake tabernacle at 3:30 p. m. Bishop Junius L. Crowther presided at the services at which the speakers were: Joseph Isaacson, H. I. Mills, and J. Peter Jensen. Musical numbers were : solos, Stillman Harris, David Thomas Jr.; and Mrs. Margaret E. Jones and Thomas J. Jones all accompanied by Professor S. M. Powell. Postlude and Prelude were played by Mrs. S. A. Hendricks. Invocation was by Bishop Jones of St. John and benediction was by Bishop Guy Servoss of the Malad Second Ward. Interment was in the Malad cemetery with Henry E. Thomas dedicating the grave. Pall bearers were: Julian Dennis, Wendel Monson, Oscar Larson, Woodrow Peterson, Pete Thomas and Dave Thomas.

Honorary pall bearers were: Hugh Jones, Hugh Evans, Ed. Williams, Guillam[sic] Griffith, M. V. Reese and Dave Lewis.

Out of town friends and relatives who came for the funeral *: Mr. and Mrs. Evan Thoa of Preston, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Jones of Pocatello, Mr. and Mrs. Rast Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bush of Smithfield, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hancy of Hyde Park, Utah; William Walker and son George and grandson, Donald Walker, and Mrs. Glenn Spencer of Pocatello.
