THOMAS, PEARL DANIELS, August 13, 1908 – August 10, 2004

Pearl Daniels Thomas, 95, born August 13, 1908 to Daniel Moroni Daniels and Catherine Elizabeth Owens Daniels in Malad, Idaho, passed away August 10, 2004 in Cerritos, CA, at their daughter’s home.

She was the 11th child having four brothers and seven sisters. She met her husband, Arnold Thomas and they were married August 3, 1927, in Malad, Idaho. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on August 4, 1980. They moved to California where they first lived in East Los Angeles and then bought a home in Downey, California in 1949.

They had three children: Don, Carryle and Sandra; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great great- grandchildren and two great- great- great grandchildren.

Perl was a lovely lady inside and out with a kind and generous heart. She was very involved with her family, her church and community. Her church callings include Primary and Relief Society counselor positions. She also held a lifetime PTA membership. At the age of 18 she was crowned Queen of Oneida County at the fairing 1926.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Thomas; one daughter, Carryle Buell; one son-iin-law Alan Libby; four brothers: Daniel O. Daniels, LeRoy O. Daniels, Luther O. Daniels and Russell O. Daniels; seven sisters: Mary Williams, Catherine Stayner, Florabel Tovey, Lenna Hone, Lona Bush, Margaret and Fern Daniels.

Services were held in Cerritos First Ward and internment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, California.
