
Patricia Ann “Trish” Lafferty Crawford (Birth 4 Nov 1930/Death 20 Nov 1985)
McCAMMON – Patricia Ann “Trish” Crawford, 55, McCammon, died Wednesday, November 20, 1985 in Marsh Valley Hospital at Downey following an extended illness.
She was born November 4, 1930, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Earnest B. and Elta Otheen Hensley Lafferty. She graduated from high school in Puget Sound, Washington.
While living in South Carolina, she met and married John Crawford. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple.
She was a convert to the LDS Church.
She had lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, California, Arizona, Alaska, Oregon and had worked as a bookkeeper, grocery store clerk, hotel clerk and fire dispatcher prior to moving to McCammon three years ago. She was the first woman aerial observer to serve with the Forest Service and had been employed at Payless Drug in Pocatello until July 1984.
Survivors include her husband of McCammon; her father of Oklahoma; a son; Steven H. Crawford, Brookings, Oregon; three daughters, Julie M. Fly, Las Vegas, Nevada; Donna N. Crawford, Milford, Utah; Lynnette I. Crawford, McCammon; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Pat (Delvon) Fulton, Clovis, California; Mrs. Lute (Connie) Creed, Eugene, Oregon; a brother, Rick Lafferty, Hollywood, California; two sisters, Mrs. John (Evelyn) Halcrow, Santa Ana, California; Mrs. Bob (Barbara) Niemela, Pinetop, Arizona; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother.
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at the McCammon LDS Stake Center with Bishop Martell Canter of the McCammon First Ward officiating. Burial was in the Norton Cemetery.
