Parley Davis (Birth 25 Mar 1920/Death 2 Oct 1986 or 1987)

NORTH OGDEN – Parley Davis – Age 66, 368 E. Elberta Drive, North Ogden, died Thursday morning October 2 (1986-87?) at his home of apparent heart failure.

He was born March 25, 1920 in Malad the son of Thomas and Rachel Ann Jones Davis.

He married Lois Davis, February 26, 1946, in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was reared and educated in Malad City and attended Weber State College in Ogden, Utah.

He served in Patton’s 1st Army Division in World War II.

He was former member of the American Legion, also the Veterans of foreign wars. He retired from Hill Air Force Base Printing Plant in 1966.

He is survived by his widow of North Ogden, one son and two daughters, Larry Davis of Bullfrog, Utah; Mrs. Terry L. (Kathleen) Mason from North Ogden; Mrs. Joe (Shelia) Hankins of Roy, Utah; and three grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister, Dale Davis of Malad, Zeph Davis of Ogden; Harold (Rick) Davis, Salt Lake, Utah; Sister Mrs. Otis (Mary) Lewis of Malad.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel I Ogden, Utah 845 No. Washington, Blvd.

Interment was in the North Ogden Cemetery where Military Honors by the VFW were accorded.
