Nolan Guy Wilson

ROY – Nolan Guy Wilson, 54, on September 23, 2001 returned to his Heavenly Father after a battle with cancer.
He was born November 9, 1946 in Malad, Idaho’, the son of George E. and Irma Fae Wilson. He married Jenalee Douglass on May 4, 1973 in Utah.
Nolan loved his family with all his heart. He was a dedicated father, friend and husband. His wife Jena was the love of his life, as were his grandchildren.
His friends and family will always remember his sweet smile, teasing nature, and wealth of knowledge. He was an active member of the LDS Church and loved to council and teach in righteousness. His family was easily entertained and enjoyed the knowledge he shared through his unique sense of humor. He was admired by everyone for his ability to make trivial information hilarious. He was a hard worker and an inspiration to people in all walks of life, family, business and church. He was an incredible example to all.
We will always be grateful for the wealth of knowledge and memories you leave us with. Because of your example we will live our lives to the fullest. We love you.
He is survived by his wife Jenalee, Roy; children: Rod (Wendy) Wilson, Branden G. Wil-son, Roy; Kim (Jason) Horspool, Roy; Heather (Jason) Loftus, Roy; Emily Wilson, Roy; Brett Wilson, Roy; seven grandchildren. Also surviving, parents George E. and Irma Fae Wilson, brothers, Newell Wilson, Nacey Wilson, Niven Wilson, Neldon Wilson, Nick Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 27, 2001 at the Roy 23rd Ward, 5930 South 2200 West, with Bishop Dennis Mansfield officiating. Friends and family may call on Wednesday at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
