Nola B. Harrison

Nola B. Harrison, 85, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home on June 13, 2009.
She was born January 31, 1924 to John and Rebecca Howell, the youngest of 14 children. On June 7, 1941 she married Cecil Harrison. They had two beautiful sons, Lamont and Michael.
They moved to California where she worked at Lock Heed and Cecil joined the Marines. She then moved back to her hometown until after the war. While at home she worked at Thiokol for over 12 years as a receptionist where she won a prestigious award for safety.
After Thiokol, Cecil and Nola, along with their son, Lamont, started their own business that evolved into a long and enjoyable career making trophies.
Nola never really retired and even while she was working she was an amazing person. She always put everyone else’s needs ahead of her own.
Nola is survived by her husband, Cecil, two grandchildren, Mike (Corina) and Michelle; five great-grandchildren: Dave (Heather) Mark, Amanda Draper, (Landon), Scott Hess, and Cody and two great-great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Bracken.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Lamont and Micheal.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 19 at 12:00 noon at the Malad City Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Americn Legion Hall at 1:00 p.m. where friends and family may call.
