MRS. ENLLIE THOMPSON DIED AT CALDWELL

Funeral was conducted at Caldwell Tuesday for Mrs. Nellie Johnston Thompson, age 89, who died January 3, 1975 in a Caldwell hospital of complications following surgery performed Dec. 20th.

Burial was at Caldwell.

Mrs. Thompson and her husband, Ira, operated the Gamble Store, later changed to Western Auto, at Malad from 1937 to 1957 when they moved to Caldwell.

Mrs. Thompson was born April 13, 1885 at Osakis, MN. She married Mr. Thompson there on Aug. 28, 1912 and then went to Montana where they homesteaded before coming to Malad. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Free Methodist Church at Caldwell.

Surviving are her husband of Caldwell; a daughter, Neva; one brother, Earl Johnston, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Jack (Buehla) Burnett, North Fork, Mass.
