Nathan William Briggs

Nathan William Briggs, 36 of Malad passed away on November 7, 2009 at his shop.

Nathan was born on July 26,1973 in Malad, Idaho to Loyd and Stephanie Briggs. He lived the Malad Valley all his life, except for frequent trips to Milton- Freewater, Oregon, where he worked for a logging company for 8 months. He thoroughly loved this job and riding in the helicopter up to the mountain sites. Nathan loved the scenery and had wanted to take his children back there some day. Nathan attended schools in Malad, and graduated with the class of 1991.

On April 2, 1993 he married Violet Ann Williams in Malad, Idaho.

They are the proud parents of four daughters, Shanlynn, Danielle, Stephie and their newest arrival little Hope. Who got to spend 5 precious months with her daddy. He was also proud of his son Blake Neal, from a previous relationship. Nathan loved teaching them things, he wanted them to be independent just like he was.

Nathan loved to work, he loved keeping busy. He worked for Livingston Auction, OEA and C&R Auto, before deciding to try a hand at his own car repair shop and farming. He loved to help anyone and everyone. He would have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

He had a big heart and big dreams. Years ago he took flying lessons. This past year he had talked about starting the lessons again and one day owning his own plane.

His last few days were long and hard, but now he is finally at peace. Nathan we are so proud of you and all your achievements. We Love and will Miss You.
