Mrs. Willard (Williams) Facer

FACER, MRS. WILLARD, October 2, 1900 – October 3, 1935

Impressive funeral services were held at the stake tabernacle Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Willard Facer, who was found dead in the granary on the Facer farm in Cherry Creek last Friday morning.

Bishop Leo D. Williams of the Cherry Creek ward officiated at the services. The invocation was offered by Joseph A. Jones and the benediction by Verl Moon.

Speakers were Presdient Thos. W. Richards, Bishop J.H. Dredge, W.J. Williams of Wellsville, Utah, and Bishop J.M. Isaacson. Closing remarks were made by Bishp Williams.

Musical numbers were by the Tovey brothers and company. Mrs. Margaret E. Jones, H.M. Williams and Stillman Harris.

Interment was in the Cherry Creek cemetery, Benjamin Lundberg dedicated the grave.

Mrs. Facer, the daughter of Edwin and Lucy Green Williams, was born at Henderson Creek, Idaho on October 2, 1900. She was an active worker in the Cherry Creek Ward and had been president of the Relief Society there until a year ago. She has also been active in the Sunday School.

She was the mother of eight children of whom seven survive: Elmo Neil, Jack, Sherman, Rula, Carol and a baby boy. She is also survived by her husband, her mother and the following brothers and sisters: Ed Williams of Salt lake City, Mrs. A.M. Schaffer of Ogden, Mrs. Oscar Richardson and Mrs. Wilford Gleed, Malad; Mrs. John Treasure, Downey, Rose Williams, Cherry Creek, W.G. and Harold Williams of Malad, John Williams, Pocatello, Ben and Ferrel Williams of Cherry Creek.
