Funeral held Monday for Mollie Evans DuClair, 68

Bishop Darrell Swartz officiated at funeral services Monday, Dec. 30th, in the Malad LDS Fourth Ward Chapel for Mollie Evans DuClair, age 68, who died December 23rd (1974) at San Francisco.
Speakers were President S. A. Hendricks, Bishop Swartz, and Gail Boam, who gave the obituary. Family prayer was offered by John E. Thomas; invocation, John J. Evans; benediction, Dale A. Evans. Special music included a duet, Catherine Ann and Ray Limb; quartet, Kenneth, Bruce, Velma and Orvella Evans. Prelude and postlude music was played by Catherine Limb.
At Malad City Cemetery, dedicatory prayer was offered by Raiford G. Benson.
Caring for the flowers were members of the Malad Fourth Ward Relief Society, Elaine Castleton, president.
Casket bearers were Tom A. Evans, John J. Evans, Ray Evans, Garn Evans, Ren Ray Bowen and Don Derricott.
Funeral arrangements were by Benson Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are being conducted at the Malad LDS Fourth Ward, 12 noon, Monday, Dec. 30th, for Mrs. Mollie Evans DuClair, age 68, who died Dec. 21st (1974) at a rest home in San Francisco.

Mrs. DuClair was born at Malad, Feb. 21, 1907, a daughter of John J. and Margaret Adams Evans. Reared and educated here, she worked 46 years for J. C. Penney Co., in Malad and San Francisco.

On Mary 17, 1942, she married Alfred DuClair at Oakland, and the marriage was solemnized Jun 1, 1945, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are her husband, San Francisco; three brothers, John A. Evans, Malad; George A. Evans, Bountiful; Ralph A. Evans, Sandy, Utah.

Services were conducted Friday afternoon at San Francisco.

Friends may call at Benson Funearl (sp. Funeral) Home Sunday evening and Monday prior to services.

Burial will be in Malad City Cemetery.
