MALAD_ Milton Thomas Jones, 95, lifetime Malad area resident, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995, in the Idaho Veterans Home in Pocatello.
 He was born June 30, 1900, in Malad, a son of Bernard parry and Sarah Cordelia Thomas Jones.
 He served in World War I and was Oneida County's last surviving World War I veteran.
 He married Laura Corbridge on Nov. 9, 1923 in Logan, Utah. She died Feb. 19, 1977.
 Mr. Jones had been a rancher and farmer his entire life and had also worked for a time with Idaho First National Bank.
  He had been involved in many organizations and for more than 50 years had been a secretary of the F.O.E. the Pleasantview Livestock Association and the St. John Irrigation Company.
  He was a member of the Masons, the American Legion and a lifetime member of the Farm Bureau.
  For many years, he was active on the Taylor Grazing Commission (later known as the Bureau of land Management) on the county, state and national levels.
   He is survived by one son and wife, A. J ay and Betty Jones of Malad; four daughters and their husbands, Lauralei and Don Carlson of Salt Lake City, Luann and Don Webb of Salt Lake City; Lorana and Darrol Harrison of Albuqueque, N.M., Judy and Ken Powell of Salt Lake City; 24 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three sons, four sisters and four brothers.
   Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Dec. 27, in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, with a son A. Jay Jones officiating.
   Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 p.m. To 8.p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday prior to services.
  Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery, with military rites by the American legion Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.
