WEESE, MICHAEL DEE – June 1, 1947 – April 15, 2003

ROY – Michael D. Weese, 55, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at his home in Roy, Utah.

He ws born Jun 1, 1947 in San Diego, California, to D.C. and Mary Elizabeth Ball Weese. He graduated from Sky View High School and attended Weber State University.

He married Arlene Byrd on March 20, 1982.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mike served as a member of the Utah National Guard for 21 years and was employed at Hill AFB as an Optics Technician, retiring in 2002 after 36 years of service.

He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed spending time working in his yard and garden, always keeping everything immaculate. Mike had a kind and gentle heart. There was nothing he would not do for his family and friends, or anyone who needed his help. We love him and miss him deeply.

Surviving are his wife of Roy; daughter, Donna (Gary) Godfrey, Clarkston; sons, Brian Weese, Denver, CO, Jonathan (Andrea) Weese, Harrisville; step-daughter, Stacy (Mark) Jeffs, Clinton; step-son Rory Rivera, Roy; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Also surviving are his mother, Mary Weese, of Brigham City; brothers, Gary Weese, Fontana, CA; Richard (Cindy) Weese, Malad, ID; sister, Anna Inman, Brigham City.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., where Military Honors will be accorded.
