GOUCHER, MERLE P.

Mrs. Merle P. Goucher, age 65, of South Ogden, died September 6, 1977 at her home of a heart attack.

Mrs. Goucher was born March 27, 1912 in Malad, a daughter of Josiah and Beatrice Jones Price.

On March 19, 1938, she was married to LeRoy E. Goucher. He died in 1966.

She had worked at hill Air Force Base as an inspector, retiring in 1966.

She was reared and educated in Malad and moved to Ogden in 1938. She was a member of the Ogden 49th LDS Ward.

Surviving are two sons: Lee R. Goucher, South Ogden; Dr. Gary K. Goucher, Tempe, AZ and three grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers and three sisters: Dale Price, Ralph Price, Marion Price and Ronald price, all of Malad; Stanley Price, Boise; Earl Price, Downey; Mrs. Ross (Pearl) Kelly, Urbana, IL; Mrs. Carol Bake, Bountiful; Mrs. George (Shirley) Fry, Ogden.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop Phil M. Wheeler officiating.
