MEDA JOHN SHARP

Meda John Sharp died peacefully on April 8, 2011. She was born in Malad, ID on April 24, 1927 to Thomas Asael and May Vereen John. She graduated from Malad High School in 1945. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City to get a job. She met the love of her life, Robert Walter (Bob) Sharp at a dance at the Tropicana. They were married in the Logan LDS Temple on April 2, 1948. She traveled the world with Bob.

She is survived by her children, John (Janet), Paul, and Julie Sharp; grandchildren, Sarah (Jeff) Powell, Andrew (Marie Wong), David (Stephanie), Rosalie, Edson and Vanessa Sharp; and great granddaughter, Zoe Kline; brother, Lyne (Betty) John; sisters, VonnaMae Dunn and Darlene (Lloyd) Porter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Mark, and brother Mardell and Dennis John.

The family would like to thank the Country Oaks and Applegate Hospice for taking good care of our mother.

Funeral services will be held April 15, 2011 at the Bountiful Central Stake Center, Bountiful, UT. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary and at the church prior to services.
