BRIGHAM CITY-Max William Morgan, 84, died on July 6, 1995, in Brigham City. He was born in Layton, Utah on October 29, 1910, to Joseph Henry and Sushanna Harvey Morgan. He married Dorthea Jones on April 4, 1935 in Spokane, Washington; later solemnized in Logan Temple on November 5, 1953.

Owner/operator of Brigham tire until retirement. Member of the LDS Church, having served in Brigham City 6th Ward. Member Chamber of Commerce, Jaycees, Brigham Golf and Country Club, Rotary Club, Sons of Utah pioneers, president of Wildlife Federation.

Hobbies were hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, and gardening.

Survived by wife, Dorthea, two daughters and three sons; Donna (Rulon) Smoot; Connie (LeRoy) Craner; Deverell (RaDene) Morgan; Harvey (Bonnie) Morgan; and Blynn Morgan; a sister Madelein Bennett; 23 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, ten brothers and sisters, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 1995, 11 a.m. In the Brigham City Sixth Ward LDS Chapel, 506 South 100 East, Brigham City, on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. And on Monday from 9;30 to 10;30 a.m. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
