Maurine Mary Naef Frasure died June 25, 1997 in Marysville, Washington.
She was born July 26, 1924 in Downey, Idaho, to Charles Daniel and Alma Katherine (Kate Scheibel) Naef. She married John Glen Jones; they were later divorced. She married William Frasure on June 7, 1954.
Maurine had been working for True Value in Snohomish, Wash., for the past nine years.
She spent many years in food service, owning and running restaurants in Great Falls, Montana. She was well known for her specialty foods, especially her cinnamon rolls.
She was a member of the Snokomish LDS First Ward.
Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, William, and two sons, Ralph and John, and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by two children, Kathleen Knieriem (Bob) of Snohomish, Wash., and Randall Frasure (Rita) of Billings, Mont.; grandchildren, Cherie Gatherman (Mike) of Snohomish, Wash.; Nicole Locke (Rich) of Marysville, Wash; and of Great Falls, Mont.; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mikaele, Madison and Kayana; sisters, Laurine Hanock (twin) (Thomas), Downey, Idaho, Florence Campbell (Dean) McCammon, Idaho; Delores Andersen, Pocatello, Idaho; and Verda Sykes Henry (William) of Pocatello, Idaho; brothers, Ralph Naef (Ginny) and Seymour Naef (Nell) both of Salt Lake City, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on July 1, 1997 at Monroe, Washington. Interment was in G.A.R. Cemetery, Snohomish, Wash.
