Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Woodyatt Reese, 85 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Willow Glen Rehab Center in Brigham City, Utah.
She was born Aril 19, 1923 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of Fred and Pearl Tams Woodyatt.
Mary married Ray L. Reese on December 28, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Civic Improvement Club and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in the Primary for 17 years and other various callings.
Mary enjoyed fishing, boating, tennis, shopping, traveling extensively and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her sweetheart of 66 years, Ray; four children, Becky (Steve) Jensen, Layton; Scott (Robyn) Reese, Pleasant View; Paul (Terry) Reese, Brigham City; Elizabeth (Gary) Larson, San Diego, CA; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, one brother, Glen Woodyatt, Willard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ida Smith.
The family of Mary would like to thank the staff at Willow Glen Rehab Center for all their kindness and loving care.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah.
A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
