Mary Reva Strasburg Nalder

NALDER, MARY REVA STRASBURG, November 2, 1924 – November 8, 2006

BEAR RIVER – Mary Reva Strasburg Nalder, 82, passed away November 8, 2006. She was born November 2, 1924 in Malad, Idaho, the eldest of seven children to Albert Nathon and Lenora Hanna Orton Strasburg.

Mary married Larin H. Nalder on July 26, 1941 in Orem, Utah. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1989.

Mary owned and operated with her husband Mary’s Rock Shop for 20 years. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a temple worker.

She was a member of the Tooele Gem and Mineral Society for 20 years and a member of the Good Sam Club. Mary liked crafts, quilting, crocheting, ceramics and macramé.

Surviving are her two daughters, Barbara Brown, Ogden, Joyce (Gregg) Johnson, Tremonton; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren , one great-great-grandchild, and sister, Marilyn Strasburg, American Falls, ID.

Preceded in death by her husband, son, Paul Roger Nalder and five brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held November 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park in Layton. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday one hour prior to services at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary.
