Services Saturday for Mrs. Anderson

Memorial services for Mrs. Mary Price Anderson, 75, who died Thursday, April 12 1962, in Oneida Hospital were held Saturday, April 14, 1962, in the Malad First ward chapel with Bishop G. Howard Neal officiating.

At the home, the family prayer was offered by Joseph E. Williams. At the chapel, organ prelude and postlude music was played by Mae Williams. The invocation was offered by M. Joe Davis. The obituary was given by Mabel Davis. Speakers were Bishop Carl A. Evans and Bishop Orville Tolman. Vocals were given by Helen Jones, accompanied by Cheryl Budge and Leora Brown, accompanied by Iris Barker. The benediction was offered by Grant Anderson.

Concluding rites were conducted at the Samaria cemetery where the dedicatory prayer was given by Daniel M. Price. Flowers were arranged and carried by the First ward Relief Society. Casket bearers were the following: Joel D. Williams, Gary Williams, Keith John, Joe A. Davis, Willard Anderson and John Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson was born May 29, 1886 at Samaria, the daughter of Daniel E. and Mary Jenkins Price. On April 29, 1907, she married Silas L. Anderson in Ogden, Utah. Later the marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They were the parents of one daughter, Mary Vaois, who died in 1925 at the age of 15 years.
