Mary J. Dalton Passes Away

Mrs. Mary Jane Williams Dalton was born February 2, 1855, at Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Evan A. and Mary Ann Tompkins Williams. In 1864 she moved to Bear Lake with her parents where she resided until 1904.

She married William Albert Dalton on February 8, 1875, at the Endowment House in Salt Lake City.

She was the mother of nine children of whom six survive; Wm. A. and Evan Dalton of Walla Walla, Washington, George Dalton, of Malad, Eugene Dalton of Preston, Mrs. J. A. Facer and Mrs. Frank Madson of Cherry Creek, and Mrs. Bert Woolslaugher of South Bend, Washington. She is also survived by one brother, T. H. Williams of Malad, forty five grand children and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Dalton passed away at her home here on October 9.
