Mrs. Mary Ivy Lusk Nielsen 80, died Sunday in a local nursing home of natural causes.
Mrs. Nielsen was born Dec. 14, 1895, in Malad, a daughter of William J. and Mary ann Jenkins Lusk.
On Dec. 13, 1914, she was married to Parley Curtis Nielsen, in Malad. He died Jan. 1, 1969.
She had lived in Malad until moving to Ogden in 1942.
She was a member of the Ogden 39th LDS Ward.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Wayne Nielsen, Arimo, Idaho; Mrs. John (Verna) Darrow, Castleford, Idaho; Mrs. Frank (Fern) Wright, Ogden; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers and one sister: Samuel J. Lusk, Cleon H. Lusk, both of Malad; David J. Lusk, Aberdeen, Idaho; Mrs. Evan D. (Martha) Evans, Pacifica, Calif.
Funeral was held Wednesday at the Malad 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Tim Wright officiating.
Interment in the Malad City Cemetery.
