Mary Bushman Gilchrist

GILCHRIST, MARY BUSHMAN, (?) – March 22, 1954

Mrs. Mary Bushman Gilchrist, wife of Robert Gilchrist, teacher at Malad for six years, died Monday at Quincy, WA.

The Gilchrists lived here from about 1930 – 1936 when Mr. Gilchrist taught science and mathematics in the high school. Mrs. Gilchrist, active in music circles, was a piano teacher for many years. She was active in the LDS Church.

Services will be conducted Friday in Ontario, Oregon, a residence until about a year ago. Additional services will be conducted Saturday in Salt lake City, Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lowell (Marguerite) Babcock, Pocatello, and Mrs. Albert (Florence) Zobell, Brigham City; four brothers, H. Fred of Salt Lake City; Lyman of Mesa, AZ; Karl and Martin, both of Snowflake, AZ; a stepmother, Mrs. Lily O. Bushman of Mesa; one daughter and four sons.
