Mrs. M. V. Rees Died Tuesday

Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m., Saturday, March 6th, for Mrs. Mary Ann (Mae) Chivers Rees, 87, who died at the home of a daughter in Malad Tuesday [March 2, 1965] after a lingering illness.

Services will be held at the Malad LDS Second Ward with Bishop Max King officiating. Friends may call at the new Benson Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.

Mrs. Rees was born October 6, 1877, a daughter of William Henry and Elizabeth Edwards Chivers. She was married to Moroni V. Rees January 1, 1898 at Malad. Mr. Rees Died in 1950.

Mrs. Rees spent most of her life in Malad where she also attended school. She was a member of the LDS church.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Albert (Hazel) Millward, Malad; Mrs. L. Mitchell (Emily) Jones, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Marietta Hale, Redwood City, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Sylvan (Marietta) Barratt, Los Angeles; Mrs. Lewis (Fannie) Lewis, Malad.
