Funeral Services For Mrs. Maxwell

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 o’clock at the funeral home for Mrs. Martha Malinda Maxwell, wife of M.B. Maxwell, who died Saturday (1944) at the Oneida county hospital of heart trouble.

Mrs. Maxwell was born Nov. 18, 1879, at Plymouth, Utah, the daughter of David and Naomi Whitaker. On January 2, 1907 she was married to M.B. Maxwell at Brigham City, Utah. They moved to Malad valley in 1912 where they have since made their home.

She is the mother of one daughter, Mrs. Leo Thomas of Idaho Falls and has five grandchildren.

Bishop LeGrande Horsley presided at the services and Thos. D. Evans, J.M. Isaacson and Bishop Horsley were the speakers, and the musical numbers were furnished by Mrs. Naomi Gunnell, June Ward, Jennie Bee Jones, IvaLou Budge, A.R. Castleton and Thos. D. Evans.

Prayers were offered by Floyd Dorius and D.Dredge Thomas. Lawrence Wells dedicated the grave.
