EVANS, MARTHA LUSK, January 12, 1903 – April 20, 1987

Martha Lusk Evans, 84, of North Ogden and a former Malad resident, died Wednesday at the North Bay Medical Center in Fairfield, California.

She was born January 12, 1903 in Malad, to William Jefferson and Mary Ann Jenkins Lusk. She was reared and educated in Malad. She married Evan David Evans September 13, 1922 in Malad. He died September 1, 1976.

She moved with her husband to San Francisco in 1941 where she resided until Mr. Evans died. After 1976, she lived in Ogden. On a visit to her son in California in 1986, she became ill and was hospitalized until her death.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by two sons, David E. Evans, Bacaville, CA and William L. Evans, Pleasant View, UT; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Cleon Lusk, St. John, and David Lusk, Aberdeen.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Benson Horsley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
