Marie Bolingbroke Day, 78, of Stockton, California, and former Malad resident, died July 15 (1989), in Stockton. She was born July 15, 1914, in Malad, and was the daughter of Arthur T. and Caroline Davis Bolingbroke. She grew up and was educated in Malad and was a graduate of Malad High School. As a young girl she had lived on the family farm, just north of Malad.

She married Ruben Day May 5, 1947, in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Day died February 18, 1970. After her marriage she had lived in various places in the area, while her husband was employed in construction. In 1954 they moved to Pocatello, where they resided until Mr. Days death. She then moved to California in 1974, where she had since lived. She was a member of the LDS church.

She is survived by one son, Dennis Day, Stockton, California and one brother, Henry Bolin(g)broke of Malad. She was proceeded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, where friends may call Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
